Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, services, and engagements between KQ Finest Adventures and our clients. By confirming a booking or making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined on this page. These terms apply to all local and international guests.
1. Booking & Payment
To secure your spot on any trip or tour, a deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of enquiry and may vary depending on the package selected.
- Full payment must be completed before your arrival date unless a specific alternative payment arrangement has been agreed upon in writing with KQ Finest Adventures.
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit/debit card, and other approved online payment platforms as advised by our team.
- All prices are quoted in the currency specified at the time of booking and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed with a deposit.
2. Travel Documents
It is the responsibility of each guest to ensure their travel documents are valid and in order prior to departure. KQ Finest Adventures will not be held liable for any losses or missed trips arising from inadequate travel documentation.
- All international guests must hold a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity from the date of entry into Kenya.
- Guests are solely responsible for obtaining the required Kenyan Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), entry visa, or any applicable transit visas for countries along their travel route.
- We recommend confirming entry requirements with the relevant embassy or official government portal well in advance of travel.
3. Health & Insurance
The health and safety of our guests is a priority. However, guests are personally responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel and meet all health entry requirements.
- Comprehensive travel insurance is highly recommended for all guests, covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, delays, and loss of personal belongings.
- Guests must ensure they have met all health and vaccination requirements applicable to Kenya and any other countries on their itinerary, including but not limited to Yellow Fever vaccination where required.
- KQ Finest Adventures will not be responsible for any health-related costs, medical evacuation expenses, or losses arising from a guest's failure to comply with health requirements.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Should you need to cancel a confirmed booking, the following schedule applies based on the written notice period received before your departure date. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

- No refunds will be issued for no-shows or missed departures, regardless of reason.
- Refunds for unused services such as accommodation, park fees, or meals are subject to the individual policies of hotels, airlines, and national park authorities — KQ Finest Adventures cannot guarantee recovery of such costs.
- International expenses including visa fees, embassy charges, vaccinations, travel insurance premiums, and airline penalties are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Bookings may be transferred to another eligible traveler or a future trip date, subject to availability and applicable charges.
- If KQ Finest Adventures cancels a trip, clients may choose between a full refund, trip rescheduling, or travel credit.
- Approved refunds are processed within 14 to 30 business days.
5. Safari & Tour Conduct
To ensure the safety of all guests, wildlife, and local communities, all participants are expected to conduct themselves responsibly throughout the duration of their trip.
- Guests must follow all instructions issued by KQ Finest Adventures guides and adhere to the regulations set by Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) and any other park authorities at all times.
- Interfering with wildlife, feeding animals, or venturing outside designated areas is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the tour without a refund.
- Guests are expected to show respect for local communities, cultural traditions, and the natural environment throughout their journey.
- Any damage caused by a guest to property, vehicles, equipment, or natural habitats will be the financial responsibility of that guest.
6. Liability
KQ Finest Adventures operates as a tour organizer and agent, coordinating services provided by independent suppliers including hotels, airlines, transport operators, and park authorities. As such:
- KQ Finest Adventures shall not be held liable for any delays, cancellations, personal injury, illness, loss of luggage or personal belongings, or any other loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond our direct control.
- Such circumstances include but are not limited to acts of nature, extreme weather, government actions, strikes, civil unrest, road conditions, or any force majeure event.
- Guests participate in all activities — including safari game drives, hikes, and water-based activities — at their own risk. KQ Finest Adventures strongly advises all guests to carry adequate travel insurance covering such activities.
- Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid by that client for the specific trip or service in question.
7. Photography & Marketing
KQ Finest Adventures occasionally captures photos and videos during trips for use in marketing and promotional materials, including on our website and social media platforms.
- By participating in a trip, guests implicitly consent to the use of such content for promotional purposes.
- Any guest who does not wish to appear in promotional content must notify KQ Finest Adventures in writing before or at the commencement of the trip. We will respect all such requests.
- Guests retain full rights to their own personal photographs and videos taken during the trip.
8. Amendments to These Terms
KQ Finest Adventures reserves the right to update, amend, or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time and without prior notice. Any changes will be published on this page and will take effect immediately for all new bookings made after the date of publication. It is the responsibility of each guest to review these terms before making a booking. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the most current version of these terms.
